Passing (finished)

Passing – 24” x 18”, acrylic painting

This painting has been hanging around my studio β€œnearly finished” for a long while. It is now complete and will be framed with so many other paintings heading to my solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina! I will post more information as the show gets ever closer.

πŸ”΄ Beneath the Shine III

Beneath the Shine – 16” x 16”, acrylic painting

I was pleased to hear that this painting was sold through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. This painting was part of a collection of six pieces on deep cradled wood panel. If you watch the video you will see that I covered the edge of the painting with gold leaf rather than framing the art. I have not done this recently. When on display it reflects a subtle gold halo on the wall depending on the room lighting.

Night Song

Night Song – 18” x18”, acrylic painting

I new nocturnal painting on a square cradled 18” wood panel.

This one was painted using a limitation color palette, maximum mood. I use a limited palette always, primary colors plus magenta. They were mixed down to a narrow spectrum for this painting.
