I was pleased to learn that this painting was sold through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. I am also excited to announce my 2022 solo show will be at RiverSea Gallery next summer!
Like many people, during the pandemic I thought a lot about the time I have and how I use it. For a decade I have had numerous solo shows and group exhibits each year. Moving forward I will be having one major solo show per year. I will only be sending my artworks to a select number of galleries. I intend to focus my efforts.

I often think of myself as a painter of psychological landscapes. As much as I hate to label myself this is a description I have found suits my enthusiasms and interests. Painting is only worthwhile if it is in pursuit of some larger meaning, that is what keeps me digging.

This sunset painting is available with Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. Summer nights on the lake are magical yet fleeting. They never get old and always inspire.

This large painting is now available in Jackson Hole, Wyoming at Horizon Fine Art Gallery. It looked pretty great on the studio wall so it was a little difficult to send. Also a little difficult to ship something so large!

My next solo exhibition will be next summer. I do not have the dates yet but it will be with a gallery that represents me on the Oregon coast. The gallery is a long running art gallery in Astoria, called RiverSea Gallery!

Experimenting with some different gouache paints. Ultimately I plan on putting together a very minimal traveling paint set. In the meantime these sketches may inform some larger acrylic paintings.

It was inspired by Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho. We have some magical atmospheric displays in this part of the country.

A photo I took in my studio just before the work was shipped to my solo exhibit at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. I immediately left for Italy after shipping the paintings⦠now back to the states and my beloved studio.
