Another large new painting headed to my solo show at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. The show is titled “Dreams Between Darkness”, which is in fact, the best show title ever.
Beneath the Shine III
A new painting that is part of a water inspired collection I am currently working on. These paintings are all painted on a square deep cradled wood panel. I finish them with a gold leaf edge.

Only Passing Through
We had a pretty loud lightning and hail storm on Lake Pend Oreille yesterday. A little bit of excitement as winter slowly gives up the ghost.
Lake Pend Oreille Sunset
Some of the most dramatic colors at sunset occur in the opposite direction of the descending sun. A wild punch of color illuminates the mountains to the east. I ran through the snow to film this and the color was intense and fading fast. Summer is gorgeous but that low winter light is magic.
