I did a major rework of this painting from last fall.

I revisited and finished this painting just as the sun season is heading out the door. It always brings me down thinking of the expansive darkness ahead.

A new painting on the studio easel today. I always crave this kind of melancholic beauty. Something lovely and a little heartbreaking. I am currently splitting my time between 18” x 24” and some tiny 8” x 10” paintings. Exploring and trying to find new light.

One of three very small paintings I am currently working on. The atmosphere and color scheme are the common thread.
I will post the full collection when it is completed!

I really connected with this piece and am pleased to have it in the “Fathom” exhibit at Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana. The show opens this Friday!
I am looking forward to seeing all the work hung in the gallery and meeting people at the opening. It’s funny I figured I would take a bit of time off this week before the show, I can’t seem to.

I was happy to hear that this piece was sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.
I will be having a solo show at Momentum Gallery spring 2026, exact date TBD. I love this gallery, hopefully I can make my way out to the opening for this next exhibit!

This is one of fifteen paintings I will have at Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana. The show is called “FATHOM”, opening July 25th!
I have three small paintings that are this size, everything else is larger. if you are in the area, come check out the exhibit!

A new painting freshly varnished and framed! One of many paintings that will be heading to a July show at Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana. Today is the first of July, time is getting tight!

A new dramatic painting. Exploring the magic and the mystery.
I love heavy atmosphere and dramatic lighting. The subject is endlessly fascinating and exciting to me. It always feels spiritual and intriguing.

A dramatic new painting in the studio. I have been working on this piece along with two others for a while. They have been evolving together in intriguing ways.
All three of these paintings are on aluminum panels that have been primed and prepared for painting. I have used various brands off and on, need more of these!
