Seasons Change

This is a large work in progress (36”x48”). The scale of paintings like this is exciting but on a deep cradled board it renders it very expensive to ship!

I have been working on three large brooding paintings. They will make a small solo show tour this year and next.

Revival

This little painting came together quickly and had a bit of magic in my mind. It is another 10″x10″ acrylic painting.

Now that I have been painting in the attic for a bit I have it somewhat organized. I am going to paint a half dozen more pieces this size and then move up to some larger works finally!

Two works

A couple of mood pieces I recently completed.  Both paintings are 10″x10″acrylic.

I spent much of the morning prepping some more boards and starting on a new image.

I am trying to organize the attic space so that it is an easier space in which to work. Dark and cold it is still a place I love to be!

Edge of Sorrow

These are two acrylic paintings I did a number of years ago. The subject was a very basic white dress, an old wedding dress.

The surfaces are heavily textured with cracks and built up modeling paste. This is a method of painting I have left in the past. The results could be interesting and organic but chaotic!
