It has been a tough financial year for the art business. I am super appreciative of the sales both direct to collectors and through the great galleries that represent me.
This new painting is varnished framed and now packed in a giant box. It is accompanying two much larger paintings shipping to Florida. They are going to a gallery I work with called “The Grand Bohemian Gallery” in St. Augustine, Florida.
I framed this painting over Labor Day weekend. yesterday I boxed it up with two other pieces and shipped it to Wyoming. They will be arriving next Monday at Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson Hole.
Another summer has slipped away. It always breaks my heart. As the days get short and the weather becomes terrible I will spend even more time in the studio working… that is the silver lining.
I was pleased that this painting was sold through Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado. Abend is one of the great galleries I am fortunate enough to work with. I need to get more art to Denver!

I was really pleased to hear that this painting was sold! The sale happen through Horizontal Fine Art Gallery in Jackson Hole. It was originally shipped to the gallery with “gold moon” which you can see in the video at the bottom. Gold moon was a 12”x12” painting and sold the day it arrived.
