I have this one varnished, framed and boxed up. Tomorrow I will be shipping it to it new home in Minnesota… snows permitting.

I sent this painting to Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. It sold very quickly to an art enthusiast in Washington D.C.
I had been saving this large piece for my coming solo show but making a living isn’t easy. I have to sell some work as I go. I am so grateful to the galleries and collectors that help me keep this ship afloat.

I was happy to learn that this painting sold through Robert Lange Studios in Charleston, South Carolina.

As I work on paintings for my solo show in June, I am thinking about my previous exhibit at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. “Color Box Water” was special, it was never on the maybe list for that show (All of the paintings were sold at the gallery).
I am working on a lot of large pieces for the next exhibit. I am also taking a step back from shipping all of my work away to a variety of galleries and or selling as I paint. I am going to assemble a powerful collection and carefully decide what goes and stays. The next solo show is in June, 2022 at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.
A studio video to show off this small painting.
Here I am installing a floater frame on a painting that was recently purchased. A silly little video that gives you a behind the scenes look at some of the additional work involved with my job.

This large painting is available through Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming!

Inside my studio on a very cold December morning. A dream of sunshine and light as the snow brings silence.

A new painting inspiration from Lake Pend Oreille. I am saving this one for my June 2022 solo show at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon! As usual I am starting to put work aside and focus my efforts. Every show I want to be my best, it will be tough to beat this years at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, N.C. (I swear I will).

Four of ten paintings for Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado. These are painted on wood panel with a 1.5” cradled edge. I applied gold leaf to the edge of the painting with a really beautiful result.
