I varnished and framed this little collection. They will be heading to Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana.

One of the new large-scale paintings I am working on in the studio. Currently I am preparing more large panels as I paint. Excited to devote much more time to epic work.

Rain and fall leaves, I had an unexpected urge to represent the season.

Sunny little painting at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.

Wave and light exploration on a canvas panel. The movement of light through the surface of water is hypnotics and soothing to watch. I strive to echo that quality in a simplified and expressive manner.

New art added to my Ugallery collection!

My latest collection of work at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. The gallery is building out a new gallery space and I am excited to have some new pieces there. I will also be having a show in the gallery next June!

I procrastinate varnishing work. It’s maybe a psychological thing but once something is varnished it is truly done. Even a painting like this one that I really like and won’t change… haven’t varnished it. It takes a sale or an upcoming show to force my hand. That just adds unnecessary pressure down the line. Yeah, it sounds like a psychological issue.
