I sent this image to Abend Gallery as a promo shot for my solo show in August. I have resisted selling this painting, holding onto it for the exhibit.

I have had people copy my work, but this is a new one! The guy is reposting my images and even trying to sell my paintings, he certainly does not possess them! People started sending me messages on Instagram about this jerk. He seems to grab art from around the web and pass them off as his own. He has a pretty good following, well played Marek.
Cycle
Night repeating as burned out day. Floating above dream’s breath. A loop then ride before the flames.

This painting is off to its new home. Shipping a few paintings, trying to catch up with orders. Very thankful for the business!
I am awake in the dark, pretending otherwise. Breathing slow, remaining still. Dread crawls the ladder of my spine.

Small paintings on panel.

One of my favorite paintings from a couple years back. This one is at The RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

A little isolated getaway. There are a number of island in Lake Pend Oreille. They are always intriguing. This painting isn’t based on a particular island.

This painting is part of “The Woodland” exhibit. The gallery is physically opening this Friday in Traverse City, Michigan!!!

The rain and sun of spring are a source of inspiration. I decided to break down the imagery into something of an abstracted pattern. The result is a bit hypnotic and perhaps meditative.
The paint is often the subject of my work as much as any imagery.
