People ask about the brush I used in a particular Instagram Story. Folks get excited, then it seems incredibly important to me. Where is that brush have I lost it or did I accidentally throw it out? Was that brush the reason that painting worked? Can a paint anymore without said brush? Seeming doubtful now…
A strange life driven to create. My motives are pure, I continue my work. Grumpy old man… I may well be.
Not sure where I put that brush…

A little commission I finished yesterday morning. These days I am focusing on my upcoming exhibits but I am still taking a few commissions to keep things rolling.

A meditation cloaked in winter.
The title sounds like I am putting down some nice lady but I don’t know any Dawns!

An older piece that now resides in Hong King.

These paintings are finally boxed and shipping to Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming. My Dad is from Wyoming so I have always had a love for the state. Growing up we were constantly taking road trips to Wyoming. I should have moved to Wyoming, always intended to.

One of five paintings I have been preparing to ship to Wyoming. These are all 12″ paintings framed with black floater frames. These frames have become my default. The frames present the entire painting rather than covering the edges. They provide a clean modern look that works well with most of my work.

One of five paintings framed and almost ready to ship to Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming. Framing, installing hardware and taking final photographs always takes longer than I remember. Trying to get some work finalized this Sunday so that I can play with paint in the morning.

This is one of five paintings I will be shipping to Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming. I am still framing and mounting hardware on these pieces. Everything takes so much time!

A painting from a couple months back. This piece is relatively simple but there is a quality I adore.
