Vernal Equinox has arrived. North Idaho has already had a real taste of spring. A bit more snow in the forecast but it is the last gasp of winter.

This painting is available through Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado!

a small but dramatic painting I recently completed.

New solo show at the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon – June 2022. This painting, “Remembered Light”, 40”x30 was one of the pieces in my last exhibit at RiverSea.
My last show at the gallery was summer 2019. I am limiting solo exhibitions to one a year after 7 years of two or three shows annually. I have decided to focus on large epic pieces. Also allowing myself at least a small amount of time to enjoy the precious summer.

Studio capture today of this small yet epic painting. The title is my best hope for the future.

A dramatic painting that I sold last Fall. It now resides in a really pretty part of Oregon, Hood River. Oregon is where I was born.

This nocturnal painting just sold through Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado. It is always nice to hear that a piece has found a new home.

Final studio capture of this large dramatic piece. It now resides in Las Vegas.

This photo was taken nearly a year ago. I am constantly thinking about the passing of time and how I spend it. It is true you spend time like money but it cannot be replenished. The clock is ticking, can I make the most of this day? I continue to paint each day. It is how I pay my bills but it is also my passion in life. All we can do is follow our enthusiasms and appreciate the good time while we have it.
