This painting packed a lot of power on a little board. We get some amazing lightning shows in North Idaho.

A painting from December that has since sold. I plan to revisit this idea in a much larger format.

This photo was taken nearly a year ago. I am constantly thinking about the passing of time and how I spend it. It is true you spend time like money but it cannot be replenished. The clock is ticking, can I make the most of this day? I continue to paint each day. It is how I pay my bills but it is also my passion in life. All we can do is follow our enthusiasms and appreciate the good time while we have it.

I have always been obsessed with clouds. One of my friends is still irritated that he got pulled over on I-90 because I was trying to get him to look at some clouds and distracted him. If I remember right, the clouds were spectacular.

I am painting a series of forest images featuring brooding skies. The low winter sun lighting up the trees in such a dark winter world is staggering.

Remembering happy summer memories. Painting summer when family came to visit for July 4th. This painting is at Abend Gallery in Denver.

A small waterscape painted on panel.

Thank you all so much for the support and likes through this rough year. I am particularly thankful to the folks that purchased my work and helped me keep this ship afloat! Happy New Year!

I’ve created a second Instagram account to showcase work that is a bit different from my landscape paintings. I always thought it was ridiculous to support two accounts but…

From high resolution scan, I am particularly fond of this one. I was planning on doing some really large paintings in this theme. I have derailed myself but it’s still on my mind.
