Another painting inspired by the season. Heartache echoing across the years.

Drawing inspiration from the low autumn sun. This time of year can bring a sense of melancholy. I also get excited for the massive hours of studio time ahead. I am leaning into the season and finding some magic for my work.
A scene from my studio with a new painting on the easel. I always loved this Damien Jurado song as well…

This small painting just sold through Grand Bohemian Gallery in St Augustine, Florida. This was a painting I did last Fall. I find myself again, this year, painting forest scenes in intense autumn sunlight. Clearly this time of year that low sun brings inspiration.

I am continuing to paint some modest sized panels I have prepped. Slowly building a collection of paintings that I will be sending out to a few select galleries in the coming months.

This large painting is now available in Jackson Hole, Wyoming at Horizon Fine Art Gallery. It looked pretty great on the studio wall so it was a little difficult to send. Also a little difficult to ship something so large!

This small painting is from February of this year. Another idea I have meant to explore a bit more.

This painting will be part of my solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. The exhibit is opening July 2nd!

I was happy to learn a couple of my paintings have sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. “Midas Sun” was one of the paintings that was sold, a bit of a charmer.
I am very busy painting and refining other works for my upcoming solo exhibit at Momentum Gallery. It is always a daunting task to get so many works ready for a show, but I am totally into it!

This painting sold through Abend Gallery in Denver Colorado.
I am so excited for summer and the warm weather, hopefully we can avoid the wildfires this year.
