There is just something about a campfire. I finished this small acrylic painting today. Beyond the hypnotic nature of flames, the paint in this one feels a bit hypnotic.

I framed and shipped two new acrylic paintings to The Grand Bohemian Gallery in Saint Augustine, Florida. This painting is 16”x20” on cradled board finished with a floater frame. i will post a video of the larger painting this weekend.

I was pleased to learn this painting was sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. Great gallery, I am happy to be working with them.

I framed this new painting with a black floater frame. This is one of two paintings I will be shipping to the Grand Bohemian Gallery in St. Augustine, Florida.

I just finished up my newest painting, “Things to Come”. It is a vibrant and meditative piece, it will probably be heading to a gallery in Florida. I still have to sign, varnish and frame the painting and of course package and ship so there is still work. Check out the silly IG reel to see it in motion in my studio!

I was pleased to learn that this misty seascape was sold through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

This is a painting I did just about two years ago. Not sure if it is the weather or the terrible news cycle that made me remember this one. This painting was part of my sold out solo show at Momentum Gallery.

I am continuing my collection of smaller 12”x16” acrylic paintings. I have prepared a lot of boards this size and want to use them all before I move onto larger work. Seeking inspiration from my own work to pursue some larger pieces, that is my plan. My part of the world is my ultimate muse, the use of paint a close rival.

This painting was sold through Momentum Gallery a couple years back. Great gallery and a successful solo exhibit, all of the paintings were sold!!
I decided to take the year of from solo exhibits for the first time in nearly a decade. I am focusing on commissions and providing work to my favorite galleries. I am hoping to do another solo show in Asheville in 2024… hopefully I can attend that one. I hear nothing but love for that community and area.

A new painting, probably finished but I am setting on my newly installed studio shelf while I switch gears and turn it up to 11.
