To celebrate Halloween I thought I would post this unusual painting. A fun diversion from my landscape paintings.

This is one of three paintings I will be sending to Robert Lange Studios for their exhibit “Horizon Lines”. This is a group exhibit at the gallery in Charleston, South Carolina. I am excited to be sending new work to their gallery!!
I was pleased to hear that these two paintings were sold through Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. They go back a few years, good to remember them and remind myself how things have moved with time.

I love chasing these dreamlike landscapes. I am currently working on a few paintings this size. I am pretty excited to get back to larger format pieces but I will be going back and forth in scale. I had a nice weekend away from home and enthusiastic to dig in.

I am continuing my efforts on small panels. Exploring ideas and moods before moving onto larger format paintings. Stay tuned!

More small paintings in the studio. This one was inspired by a great September road trip last weekend. Fall brings beauty and melancholy.
I will continue working on these small pieces and see where they take me.

I revisited and finished this painting just as the sun season is heading out the door. It always brings me down thinking of the expansive darkness ahead.

A new painting on the studio easel today. I always crave this kind of melancholic beauty. Something lovely and a little heartbreaking. I am currently splitting my time between 18” x 24” and some tiny 8” x 10” paintings. Exploring and trying to find new light.
I really love this piece. It feels like a visit to dreamland. The painting is now available through Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana!
