I just finished this little 10″x10″ painting. I will probably be taking this to the Bainbridge Island exhibit. Only two weeks until I leave so I have a lot of decisions to make and a lot of pieces to finalize!

Once again trying to capture the feeling of snow falling on the lake. This is another 24″x30″ acrylic painting on panel.
Mark making is always an important element in my painting process. I was pleased with the results on this piece. The suggestion of movement and precipitation is there but it also has an expressive quality that elevates the image.

A little expressive 9″x12″ sky and water painting!

These two paintings are each 24″x30″. They are acrylic/open acrylic paintings.

I am drawn back to moody water scenes… probably the change of seasons.
I’m excited to be working on large dibondi panels, they are light weight and will be easier to ship and drag around to art shows!

The first 16″x16″ painting I have done for a while. It is nice to have a bit more room and surface to play with. I will be painting a bunch of these and some much larger paintings soon as well.

Work inspired by the grey skies and endlessly shifting light of Lake Pend Oreille. Even though it was hard to let go of the sunshine of summer nature always brings the beauty.
This is an Acrylic painting 10″x10″ in size.
