I have been working on a few of these large (24″x30″) shoreline paintings. This is one of them that is possibly finished.

I just finished this painting last night. It had lingered around the studio in an awkward state for a couple weeks. Something was needed and then it all came together!
This painting is another on large board (24″x30″). I am trying to put together a strong collection for two upcoming shows this winter. Both shows are in Western Washington and they overlap which will make it especially difficult!

I have been working on commissions pretty regularly lately. I painted two of a theme and gave the client her pick! Here are the two paintings. They are each 11″x14″ acrylic paintings.

These two paintings are each 24″x30″. They are acrylic/open acrylic paintings.
This is the first painting I have finished on dibondi aluminum panel. I primed the surface and painted as I normally would. I mounted d-ring hangers on the back and it worked really well! I have been trying to find a way to make my work more transportable for mailing and hauling around to art exhibitions. This seems to work really well and will also be helpful for storage. These paintings can be hung without a frame but would work well with a traditional frame as well.

I have been busy balancing my time and mostly burning up the too few summer days. This is a photo of the clean portion of my studio!
I am working on a pretty exciting commission, four big water paintings (24″x24″) inspired by Lake Pend Oreille. Hoping to have them finished by the weekend, this is one of four.
