A new painting in my studio. This one will be part of my solo exhibit opening Saturday June 11th at 5:00 PM. The show is at the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. Time to get packing…

Bringing it back home today with a new painting in the studio. Inspiration from Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho. I always think of this as my home water. It has been for more than 6 years now.

Some new shimmering work. There was a time when I thought a 24”x18” board was big… now it just seems like a fun size to paint. I am putting together a large collection of pieces with these dimensions, some should be available at my solo show June 11th at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.
A new painting that is part of a water inspired collection I am currently working on. These paintings are all painted on a square deep cradled wood panel. I finish them with a gold leaf edge.

I am working on a new series of water paintings. These are painted on a deep cradled board. I am finishing the edges with gold leaf rather than simply framing them. Some of these paintings will be at my solo show “Dreams Between Darkness”, June 11th at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

A tribute to the season. I am so excited for more daylight and sunshine. A little sun on the lake and the day is better.
I am working on a little collection of these 16” square water paintings. I put gold leaf on the 2” cradled side rather than framing the pieces. Some of these should be at my June solo show at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.
WIP in the studio today. Hard winds kicking up on the lake today, making for a timely painting.

This large seascape was sold through the Grand Bohemian Gallery in Saint Augustine, Florida. Today I will be carefully packing and shipping this painting to its new home!

More inspiration from winter sunlight in North Idaho.
