I love heavy atmosphere and dramatic lighting. The subject is endlessly fascinating and exciting to me. It always feels spiritual and intriguing.

A bit of crimson and gray on the easel, perhaps a dragon. I am continuing my work on 18” x 24” panels, very fun scale to work at.
I have show coming up this summer at Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana. I have a long way to go, not a lot of time.

A dramatic new painting in the studio. I have been working on this piece along with two others for a while. They have been evolving together in intriguing ways.
All three of these paintings are on aluminum panels that have been primed and prepared for painting. I have used various brands off and on, need more of these!

I was happy to hear that this painting was sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. These photographs were taken almost exactly a year ago.
I am working on a few 18” x 24” paintings at the moment. I posted this one a bit ago, this is the latest update! Things are starting to click into place now, just a bit more refining ahead on this piece.
I sometimes consider selling everything and retiring to a smaller life… I just can’t stop doing what I do.
Things have been pretty heavy. Trying to enjoy the light and the days. Here are a couple scenes from home.
