Small forest painting of a very large old tree.

An older painting I recently dug up. I put a couple more hours into it and like the result. I rarely go back to older work unless I need a surface to paint on.

Eye makes a special appearance. I was excited to paint trees catching the morning light. I am hiking early every morning, it is an inspiration.

Winter came raging in though Fall is still at work. Time is short on hours, less this time of year. Monochromatic winter looms and palettes shift.

Final image of this painting from a High Resolution scan. Minimalist approach to the shine of water.

A couple pieces inspired by morning hikes. Currently the leaves are under ice and snow, there is a little more fall ahead.

This painting is part of a collection of work now at Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana. Six paintings in total and a range of sizes.

varnished, framed and delivered this commission.

Wrapping up some studio photography. Final shot of this cloudscape.

Rain and fall leaves, I had an unexpected urge to represent the season.
