I put the hardware on this 20″x20″ acrylic painting.
This little acrylic painting completely slipped my mind. I found it while emptying a drawer in my studio. Kind of a fun surprise.
The work was done on a small piece of masonite. A thick layer of acrylic gel texture was built up and then painted over.

This is a 10″x10″ acrylic painting. I think I am pretty much finished with this particular painting. Minimalist landscape painting is intriguing to me, I hope to do a lot more work along these lines.

This is a 10″x10″ acrylic painting I recently finished. Clouds are endlessly fascinating to me.
I am packing up my house and preparing to move to Idaho. Eleven years I have enjoyed living here but it is time for a new adventure.
It is interesting to see all the stuff I have squirreled away. This bedroom closet was packed with art work from my college years and into the mid 90’s. I took one photo to try capture the past.

This is an especially contemporary acrylic painting for me. I was experimenting with materials and ideas with no clear destination.
I won’t lead the viewer, I had a lot of ideas when painting and composing this image. Now looking at the finished piece I have other ideas. What does this painting say to you?
