This painting has been hanging around my studio “nearly finished” for a long while. It is now complete and will be framed with so many other paintings heading to my solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina! I will post more information as the show gets ever closer.

My newest nocturne painting in the studio. This is the third painting in this series on 18” cradled wood panels.

I new nocturnal painting on a square cradled 18” wood panel.
This one was painted using a limitation color palette, maximum mood. I use a limited palette always, primary colors plus magenta. They were mixed down to a narrow spectrum for this painting.

We woke up to snow this morning, to mark the start of December. I thought I would mark the occasion with a small winter painting from 2022. This one was sold to a collector. I am also attaching a video from my morning hike, such a change overnight!

I am painting a few miniatures at the moment. This time of year demands warmth!
I have eight new paintings available now at Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana. An incredibly beautiful contemporary art gallery in the heart of downtown Missoula. I had not had work available through Radius for a number of years… good to be back!

Inspiration from a gorgeous fall on Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho. It has been a warm and colorful autumn in my neck of the woods. A windstorm cleared out a lot of the leaves but I’m not done with them just yet.

A new colorful painting in the studio this morning. I have six 12”x12” panels and I am dedicating them all to water imagery.

Fall, entering the dark season. It brings some melancholy with the beauty. Chasing the vibe on some small panels.
