A painting from early February of this year. I sold this one through Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

A proper digital photo of this piece. It feels appropriate for a Monday somehow.

We get some pretty dramatic storms in North Idaho. Lightning is always exciting if not a little terrifying. It has inspired imagery I have considered playing around with for a while… starting small with this one.

I found a couple small boards in my studio. Now they are cloudscapes!

The magic of spring when the grass is still green and growing. The days expanding and the outdoors beckon.

I captured a high resolution of this painting before the packing begins! Getting ready to send a group of works to Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

I have always loved watching clouds, in that way I’m not alone.

A small painting with a minimalist approach. Focusing on simple blends and interesting mark making.
Three 24″x24″ paintings on the studio counter. Sometimes it is good just to start painting… no clear destination. These cloudscape paintings were freeing to paint. I am not sure if I will keep these but it doesn’t really matter.
