Heartbreaking as it fades.

Heartbreaking as it fades.

Moonlight is always a joy to see. One of the beautiful benefits of living in the country.

This painting sold through Abend Gallery, part of my current solo show. Labor Day weekend started with a fire on the mountain I live below. Some folks lost everything and the forest caught fire, luckily it seems to be out now. I paint this sort of thing but I don’t take it lightly. Fire is amazing, beautiful and utterly terrifying.

This painting is @abendgallery, part of my solo show running through September 16th.

Inspiration from the Priest Lake area of North Idaho.

Local scenery is always a huge influence. This one a straight tribute to Lake Pend Oreille. It will be part of my solo exhibit at Abend Gallery in Denver.

Playing with summer inspiration in my studio.

I saw the old beast and I saw myself.

Working on some small studies. Filling the time between varnishing and frame art for my upcoming show.

Summer has truly arrived in North Idaho.
