Lake Pend Oreille has been a source of inspiration for a number of years. This is a fairly typical view when the weather is feeling gloomy.

A burning sunset painting, this one is modest in size at 10″x8″.

Two 12″x9″ paintings I completed this week. Trying to keep things minimal with intriguing mark making and beautiful atmospherics.

This Painting is currently hanging on Bainbridge Island. It is part of the collection I have at the Bainbridge Performing Arts Gallery through April 1st. The painting is 24″x18″ and has a black floating frame.

This 24″x18″ painting is currently at the BPA on Bainbridge Island. Forgive the black bars at the top and bottom!

There is a lot more than painting involved in exhibits. I would prefer to stick with the painting but I like the bit of adventure involved as well.

These are some of the smaller paintings I will have at next Friday’s show at the BPA. I am bringing 22 paintings which might be too much for the space… time will tell.

I am putting the finishing touches on this 24″x 18″ painting. It seems like I am always trying to paint ethereal meditative works. This one gives me the feeling of drifting through the air, like the best kind of dream.
I will put a frame on it for the Bainbridge Performing Arts exhibit.

I put a floating frame on this 18″x24″ painting. I am hoping to have eight paintings of this size as part of my show opening March 2nd on Bainbridge Island. I still have a lot to do!

This 12″x9″ painting has just dried. It is part of a collection of acrylic paintings I am preparing for a show on Bainbridge Island at the BPA.
