I received a phone call from RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. They were letting me know they had sold some of my paintings. This was one of the pieces that found a new home.

Another painting inspired by the season. Heartache echoing across the years.

This large painting has shipped to Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. The painting is a pretty special one. I was planning to save it for my solo show in Astoria, Oregon this June but Momentum needed more work so off it went.
It was a long week of framing, packing and shipping. Finding time to paint here and there but the other work was overwhelming my time. Looking forward to digging in next week in the studio.

I am shipping a few small pieces to Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. These pieces were requested for a small works show. This time of year galleries are always looking for small paintings for Holiday Shows. I am sending small paintings to just two galleries this year.
A scene from my studio with a new painting on the easel. I always loved this Damien Jurado song as well…

I will be varnishing and framing this painting during the weekend. It is a commission that will be displayed with an older painting of my called “the hermit”.

A new painting that I will be varnishing and framing. This one was a commission arranged through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. So excited to be working with them.
This painting truly has a haunting feeling in person. Part of a series I am working on inspired by the lake shore and the season.

This painting sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. “Expanding Days”, was the final painting from my solo show. Momentum Gallery has also sold the four additional paintings I sent after the exhibit. The gallery has been really great to work with!
