A simple little seascape that captures the light and energy well. This 12″x9″ painting is my most recent painting. I am planning on doing a number of fairly small works in the coming weeks.

This painting shares a title with the show I have opening Friday 5-7pm at the Bainbridge Performing Arts Gallery.

This is one of those paintings that seemed to make itself. I carefully moved it from the easel to the table and was thankful.
It traveled from a North Idaho to the BPA on Bainbridge Island, part of the exhibit.

I am putting the finishing touches on this 24″x 18″ painting. It seems like I am always trying to paint ethereal meditative works. This one gives me the feeling of drifting through the air, like the best kind of dream.
I will put a frame on it for the Bainbridge Performing Arts exhibit.

This 12″x9″ painting has just dried. It is part of a collection of acrylic paintings I am preparing for a show on Bainbridge Island at the BPA.

I just finished this little 10″x10″ painting. I will probably be taking this to the Bainbridge Island exhibit. Only two weeks until I leave so I have a lot of decisions to make and a lot of pieces to finalize!

Once again trying to capture the feeling of snow falling on the lake. This is another 24″x30″ acrylic painting on panel.
Mark making is always an important element in my painting process. I was pleased with the results on this piece. The suggestion of movement and precipitation is there but it also has an expressive quality that elevates the image.

A little expressive 9″x12″ sky and water painting!

These two paintings are each 24″x30″. They are acrylic/open acrylic paintings.

I am drawn back to moody water scenes… probably the change of seasons.
I’m excited to be working on large dibondi panels, they are light weight and will be easier to ship and drag around to art shows!
