A painting from one year ago. This one was sold at my solo exhibit in Denver at Abend Gallery. I desperately wanted to attend the show but of course it was 2020 so it became an online and by appointment exhibit. Someday I will make it down there, it will probably take another solo show!

An experimental painting from last May. Something I intended to follow further. One of the benefits of looking through past work, a reminder of exploration yet to do.

I have partnered with Epik Canvas for a temporary run of prints on canvas. A lot of fun options available at very affordable prices! Link in my profile.

A little drama and a little beauty to start the week. I had painted a couple smaller pieces with a similar color scheme. Working on a couple new ones that are a bit larger.

A painting from two years ago. Here in North Idaho there was recently a good chance of seeing the aurora borealis but the clouds moved in and we missed it. When I have seen the lights from Idaho it has been a dull flicker on the lake, beautiful nonetheless.

I painted this little commission for a woman in the San Juan Islands, a place I dearly love. She had fond memories of the big lakes of North Idaho. She wanted a little painting that captured her magical memories from the summers in the 70’s and 80’s.

An atmospheric painting inspired by the place I live. I am always chasing mystery and magic in my work, this has a bit.
