My latest collection of work at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. The gallery is building out a new gallery space and I am excited to have some new pieces there. I will also be having a show in the gallery next June!

I procrastinate varnishing work. It’s maybe a psychological thing but once something is varnished it is truly done. Even a painting like this one that I really like and won’t change… haven’t varnished it. It takes a sale or an upcoming show to force my hand. That just adds unnecessary pressure down the line. Yeah, it sounds like a psychological issue.

A small sunny painting on my studio table.

I am finally adding more work to my Ugallery site. I have submitted 6 paintings, it typically takes a week or so before they are available on the website. I will be adding more work to their site in the coming months.

This painting is available at Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado. Bison have always been one of my favorite animals. I live just a couple hours from The National Bison Range, visiting again soon!

I love a dramatic landscape. I have been up before dawn hiking and watching the sun break across the lake. Blasting color through the thick forest. Nature is endlessly inspiring.

Another summer has slipped away. I always feel a little crushed this time of year. Every season has its beauty and the lights will stay bright in the studio.

In a strange moody land.

A moody piece that is a preview to the dark coming months. I have spent a lot of time painting at this scale. I will be working on much larger pieces in the coming months.
