Merry Christmas 2019! I hope everyone is able to spend some time with friends and family. Thinking of good times past, present and future.

This painting now resides in Portland, Oregon. I captured a final photo of the piece before shipping it. Sadly the photo didn’t have the clarity of the actual art. Someday I hope to upgrade my camera…

Three small acrylic paintings, each 5″x7″. I am working on small pieces in preparation for larger works. The middle painting just sold this morning.

Rainbows really have a magical feel. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were no scientific explanation.
I wasn’t going to do it this year, but my will is weak. Here are my best nine from Instagram!
Thank you all for so much support in 2019. As an introvert sharing my art online runs contrary to all of my solitary instincts. I am alive, inspired and motivated so 2020, be gentle.

Fading Distance (SOLD)
20”x50” acrylic
Client photo of this piece. They put a nice floater frame on the painting.

This is the third painting in this little series. The painting is my favorite of the group because I am a fan of interesting mark making and simplicity. Creating something seemingly minimal and effortless is often incredibly difficult. This is where all of my years of painting work in my favor.

Two moody forest scenes. I prepared so many 12” boards that I keep painting images this size! It is a fun scale to work on as it allows for a little quicker experimentation. Ultimately I need to move back to larger panels for my 2020 exhibits.
