Today we have a few inches of snow in North Idaho. Nothing but snow for days according to the forecast! Regardless of the date winter has arrived.
So it seemed appropriate to post this warm campfire painting. There is so much I want to work on but it is hard not to switch gears to some winter scenes…

Another small water piece. This one sold along with other 10″ water painting I recently posted. I am varnishing them now!

Sirens Call
15”x6 1/4” acrylic
Mountains to the East roll into Montana. Lake Pend Oreille is what drew me to North Idaho.

Flow (SOLD)
16”x16” acrylic
This is a painting from 2016. Painted in Idaho it now resides with a collector in Hong Kong!

North Idaho is a heavily timbered part of the country. I am beginning work on a series that pays tribute to the forest. Of course I will be working on many other things as I can not help it.

What another cow portrait? This one was a commission I just wrapped up!

I painted this during our first legitimate snowfall on Tuesday. The painting didn’t actually keep me warm but I know it tried.
I only have a couple of these 12″x12″ boards left, I have really enjoyed working at this dimension. Trying to dig through old artworks and sand them down. Reuse existing materials, recycling is a lot of work!

These four paintings have been been shipped Fedex Ground to Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. They are supposed to be delivered today, hopefully they make it safe and sound!

Enjoying these modest sized panels. I have been prepping a lot of large boards as well, mixing up the scale.
