I new moonlight painting in my studio. I have been working on a few of these pieces recently. I sold a couple of them but this one might be bound for a group exhibit. Time will tell as it seems to do.

Inside my studio on a very cold December morning. A dream of sunshine and light as the snow brings silence.

This painting really captures our dramatic skies of the season. Clouds pressing in but the blue of summer still shining through.
Today in the studio. Capturing a little bit of summer on a board. Our ground squirrels have already started hibernating and now the hummingbirds have vanished. It is still August, It all seems too soon.

We had some rain last night in North Idaho. The sky is bright and we have a break from the wildfire smoke. It feels like a miracle. I just finished this painting and it really reflects the beauty of the day.

This large painting is now available in Jackson Hole, Wyoming at Horizon Fine Art Gallery. It looked pretty great on the studio wall so it was a little difficult to send. Also a little difficult to ship something so large!

I painted this two years ago. Unusual framing for me but it works well with this little painting. I ended up selling it to a client in California.

This nocturnal painting just sold through Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado. It is always nice to hear that a piece has found a new home.

This photo was taken nearly a year ago. I am constantly thinking about the passing of time and how I spend it. It is true you spend time like money but it cannot be replenished. The clock is ticking, can I make the most of this day? I continue to paint each day. It is how I pay my bills but it is also my passion in life. All we can do is follow our enthusiasms and appreciate the good time while we have it.

Sunny little painting at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.
