Timber Stories (SOLD)

I painted this during our first legitimate snowfall on Tuesday. The painting didn’t actually keep me warm but I know it tried.
I only have a couple of these 12″x12″ boards left, I have really enjoyed working at this dimension. Trying to dig through old artworks and sand them down. Reuse existing materials, recycling is a lot of work!
Looking Back

This painting is more than a few years old. Sometimes it is good to look back.
Shine Through

Enjoying these modest sized panels. I have been prepping a lot of large boards as well, mixing up the scale.
Wave lineup

Studio Waves
16”x16” and 18”x18”
A lineup of wave paintings from last week. This week I will refocus on commissions and bigger projects.
Elements

A recent piece of mine that is on the road to Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.
Spray

Playing around with some waves.
Mystic

This is is another painting taking the long trip to Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.
Down River

The Clark Fork River is a mighty river, it feeds Lake Pend Oreille.
The Harbinger (another look)

One of my favorite pieces, painted in late December of 2018. It started me down an exciting path of exploration. I keep myself open to ideas and am willing to pursue imagery that is compelling to me even if I know it is unlikely to be popular. The Harbinger is currently on display at the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. They have a nice little collection of my work so stop in if you are on the Oregon Coast.
