This painting is fairly shimmering with golden light. More inspiration from the landscape surrounding me in North Idaho.
A bit of melancholy with the loss of summer light. I am excited to see neighbors fleeing for the south. A silent winter is a painting paradise.

This painting just sold through Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado.

An older painting that was purchased a couple years ago by some close friends. They took a long vacation to North Idaho to visit. This marks the last day of their stay.

A large new sunset in the studio. It has become clear to me that I am obsessed with transitions of lighting. Fleeting moments that are so beautiful and momentary as to break your heart. This weekend I went to a celebration of life for my beloved Aunt. Life is just as temporary as the fading light… the reminders are growing. It is impossible not to dwell in these thoughts.

A small colorful painting on the studio table. I have now painted a lot of 10” and 12” panels. I wanted to do many more but I need to focus on some of my commissions so these will be on the back burner.

I was happy to hear from Momentum Gallery yesterday. They had just sold this painting at their gorgeous gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.

One of four new paintings I have shipped to the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. I have a solo show at the gallery in June of 2022, in the meantime they have been asking for more work.

I shipped these small works to Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. I found out that they have already sold to clients.
