Studio shot of this ethereal golden painting. I have four of these that I am finishing up. Then it is on to the large commission of a similar theme. I am rather buried in commissions, I rarely take them but now I am signed up for a lot.
I am continuing some autumnal forest paintings in the studio. I have four of these pieces in the works. After immersing myself into this I will be switch to some much larger panels, 30”x30”.

I am starting on a series of autumnal forest paintings. This time of year as the daylight fades and the sun hangs low, I feel it in so many ways. The beauty shifts and there is that reminder of days passing and time slipping away. I am leaning into the beauty of the hours.

Detail of my new painting that will be part of a Uffizi inspired show at Haven Gallery. The exhibit opens October 29th in New York.

I feel bad for the letter “Z”. I’m sure it never wanted to be the new swastika. There are too many monsters in the world but they are only human.
This painting is headed for Haven Gallery in New York! It will be part of an upcoming Uffizi themed show. This painting was inspired by “The Duke and Dutchess of Urbino” by Piero della Francesca. I saw the painting in person when I visited Florence in my younger days.

This brooding painting is currently available at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. I have always been a fan of moody skies and this one definitely brings a mood!
I put my life into a very short clip.

This is a studio favorite. I have avoided the urge to ship it to any galleries thus far. Enjoy your weekend.
